Shin Kokyu SAN'AUN: Breathing Techniques
(Three deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling AUM-)
· Exercise 1: SHOMEN kokyuho (BREATHING FRONT)
Sitting in seiza no kamae (kneeling), inhaling air while bending the head and shoulders back in a very natural and as much as possible. Exhale bending the head and shoulders forward and using your body weight to release the maximum air. The lungs should already be empty. Repeat eight times
· Exercise # 2: SEIZA SAYU SHINKOKYU (DEEP BREATHING SITTING RIGHT-LEFT)
Sitting in seiza no kamae, turn your face to the right and pull the right shoulder back, inspiring. Dropping the right shoulder, turn your face front and exhale completely. The same to the left. Repeat eight times.
· Exercise No. 3: SHINTO SHINKOKYU (DEEP BREATHING IN SCOPE)
Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of the body. Keep your legs together throughout the exercise. Extend the arms over the legs and parallel to the ground. From this position, stretch the arms sideways and inhale. Exhale by bending forward, touching the toes. It is important to run this exercise keep your spine straight and eyes straight ahead. This action helps to release air from the lungs. Repeat eight times.
